GUIDE THERMAL MONOCULAR TE MINI TE210MS APEX VISION 256X192
The Guide TE Mini TE210MS thermal monocular replaces the eyepiece with a 1.43-inch colour AMOLED touchscreen: the thermal image is viewed at arm's length, like a watch or a small phone, without putting your eye to it. It has a 15 mK 256×192 detector, a focus-free 10 mm lens and weighs 200 g. Guide recommends it for night hunting, outdoor adventure and search and rescue.
Features
- 1.43-inch AMOLED touchscreen at 466×466: you see the image without putting your eye to the device, which reduces eye fatigue during long observation.
- Share the image: because the screen is in plain view, two people can look at the same animal at the same time.
- 12 μm 256×192 detector with 15 mK: ApexVision S1 system (ApexCore S1 detector, Nexus 1.0 platform, Hyper-Light 2.0 algorithm).
- Focus-free 10 mm F1.0 lens: ready to use when switched on, with no rings to adjust.
- 13.1° × 13.1° field of view: 23 × 23 m at 100 m, in a square frame adapted to the round screen; 0.4x to 1.6x magnification.
- 200 g and 111 mm: the lightest and shortest in the TE APEX VISION family, to carry in your pocket at all times.
- Up to 6 hours of battery life: built-in, with 20 W fast charging; 10 minutes gives 1 hour of use.
- Records with sound, IP67: photo and video with audio on 64 GB; resistant to dust and water from −20 °C to 50 °C.
Why choose this model?
The TE Mini is for those who want to look at the thermal image in a relaxed way: for a walk around the land, to check whether there are animals in a field before going in, or to show someone else what you are seeing. Glasses wearers also have no need to adjust dioptres, because there is no eyepiece.
It does not replace a monocular with an eyepiece for observing at long range: magnification is low (0.4x to 1.6x) and the stated range is 500 m. For that, the TE419S or the TE425S are better suited.

How to choose
The choice between the TE Mini and the TE210S is mainly about how you view the image. Both have a 256×192 detector, a 10 mm lens and a 500 m range. The TE210S has an eyepiece with an 800×600 display and 1.2x to 4.8x magnification, better suited to careful observation; the TE Mini shows the image on a 1.43-inch touchscreen, is lighter and quicker to check.
Frequently asked questions
