NOCPIX 8K DIGITAL NIGHT VISION RIFLESCOPE NITE PRO D50R LRF
The Nocpix NITE PRO D50R digital night vision riflescope, which the manufacturer presents as the first digital riflescope with an 8K sensor, has 8000×6000 pixels (48 megapixels) at 60 Hz, with a 50 mm F1.25 objective lens and a built-in 1200 m laser rangefinder with ballistic calculator. It is not a thermal scope: by day it gives a colour image, and at night it works in low light or with an infrared illuminator. It is the most advanced Nocpix model in this category, designed to identify game in detail at high magnification at dawn, dusk and night.
Features
- 8K sensor, 8000×6000 at 1.2 µm: more than four times the pixels of a 4K digital scope, according to the manufacturer. The difference shows at high magnification, where antlers, fur and feathers stay distinct.
- Multi-coated 50 mm F1.25 lens and Light+ algorithm: the large aperture gathers more light and Light+ reduces noise while keeping detail at twilight. 3x to 36x magnification and an 8.8° × 7.4° field (15.4 × 13 m at 100 m).
- 1.03-inch round AMOLED display, 2560×2560 (Vision+): 60 mm eye relief, 6 mm exit pupil and −4 to +4 dioptre adjustment, for comfortable viewing over long periods.
- Target Sync: the rangefinder optical axis is adjusted mechanically to match the reticle, so the ranging point and the aiming point are the same. Range and aim in one motion.
- 1200 m laser rangefinder and ballistic calculator for several calibres, with the aiming point corrected for distance.
- Magnesium alloy body: tested for recoil up to 7000 J, at 980 g, for better rifle balance.
- Always ready: 1-second start-up, central focus wheel within fingertip reach and a polarity-free 18650 compartment that takes the battery either way round.
- Two batteries and recording: built-in 3850 mAh battery plus a replaceable 18650, for up to 6 hours; video with sound and recoil-activated video on 64 GB; Nocpix app over Wi-Fi for live view, settings, zeroing and ballistic data and firmware updates.
Why choose this model?
The NITE PRO D50R is for hunters who want the most detailed Nocpix digital image in a scope with a rangefinder: the 8000×6000 sensor and F1.25 lens keep colour and detail as light falls, and Target Sync removes the need to range and then find the target again. Magnification from 3x gives a wider field than the NITE D70R, useful when waiting at a high seat and at medium distances.
In total darkness it needs an external infrared illuminator, which is not in the box. If higher base magnification and a 70 mm lens matter more, look at the NITE D70R.

How to choose
Nocpix offers two digital day and night riflescopes with a 1200 m rangefinder. The NITE D70R focuses on reach: 70 mm F2.0 objective lens, 5x base magnification (up to 40x), 3536×3536 sensor and up to 7 hours of battery life, at 1110 g. The NITE PRO D50R focuses on image quality and speed: 8000×6000 sensor, brighter 50 mm F1.25 lens, 3x to 36x magnification with a wider field, 1.03-inch 2560×2560 display, Target Sync and a magnesium body at 980 g, with up to 6 hours of battery life. Neither is a thermal scope: to see in total darkness they need an infrared illuminator.
Frequently asked questions
Is the NITE PRO D50R a thermal scope?
No. It is a digital night vision scope with an 8000×6000 colour sensor. At night it needs some ambient light or an external infrared illuminator, which is not in the box.
What is Target Sync?
It is the mechanical alignment of the rangefinder axis with the reticle. Once calibrated with the tool supplied in the box, the ranging point and the aiming point coincide.
What batteries does it use?
It has a built-in 3850 mAh battery and takes a replaceable 18650 that fits either way round. Battery life reaches 6 hours; two 18650 batteries and a charger are supplied.
How does it differ from the NITE D70R?
The NITE PRO has an 8000×6000 sensor instead of 3536×3536, a 50 mm F1.25 lens instead of 70 mm F2.0, 3x to 36x magnification, a larger display and a lighter magnesium body. The D70R has higher base magnification (5x) and longer battery life (7 hours).
Can the scope be updated through the app?
Yes. The Nocpix app tells you when new firmware is available and installs it from your phone, as well as showing live view and downloading photos and videos.
