NOCPIX MULTISPECTRAL THERMAL BINOCULARS OMNI L19R LRF 8K
The Nocpix OMNI L19R multispectral thermal binoculars combine a 384×288 pixel thermal channel (12 µm, NETD ≤ 15 mK, 50 Hz) with a 19 mm F0.9 lens and an 8K colour digital channel (8192×6144) with a 50 mm F1.8 lens, plus a 1000 m laser rangefinder. In one device, one button switches from the thermal image to the digital image: heat reveals the animal and 8K shows it in colour and detail, by day, at twilight and at night.
Features
- 384×288 thermal channel at 12 µm, NETD ≤ 15 mK: in-house sensor with a 19 mm F0.9 lens, 1.5x to 12x magnification, 13.8° × 10.4° field (24.3 × 18.2 m at 100 m) and detection up to 980 m (the manual states 1000 m). Seven palettes: White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Rainbow, Violet, Crimson and Viridian.
- 8K digital channel: 8192×6144 sensor at 1.2 µm and 50 mm F1.8 lens, with 3x to 18x magnification and an 8.8° × 6.6° field (15.4 × 11.5 m at 100 m). Image modes for day, dusk, moon, green, yellow and auto.
- Removable infrared illuminator: 850 nm (longer range) and 940 nm (more discreet) modules, swapped by hand without tools, with four power levels, for the digital channel in total darkness. The 850 nm module comes in the box only with the H35R.
- 1000 m laser rangefinder and ballistic data: distance and ballistic reference on screen while observing. Over N-Link, the digital image and the distance can be shared with other Nocpix devices.
- Steady, comfortable viewing: electronic image stabilisation from 1x, zoom in steps as small as 0.5x, 0.5-inch 1600×1200 AMOLED display, 12 mm exit pupil, 25 mm eye relief and −4 to +4 dioptre adjustment.
- Simple controls: four buttons, one-press thermal/digital switching, focus rings underneath within fingertip reach and picture-in-picture (PIP).
- Uninterrupted power: built-in battery plus two replaceable 18650s, in a polarity-free compartment that takes the batteries either way round, even in the dark. Up to 7.5 hours of battery life; four 18650s come in the box.
- Rugged and connected: magnesium alloy body with anti-slip grip, IP67, −20 °C to +50 °C, tripod thread, 64 GB for photo and video, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with automatic connection to the Nocpix app.
Why choose this model?
The OMNI L19R puts the two channels a hunter uses at night into one device: thermal to find the animal and 8K digital to see it in colour and detail, plus a 1000 m rangefinder. The 19 mm thermal lens gives the widest field of the series (24.3 m at 100 m) and magnification from 1.5x, which makes scanning woodland and open country easy at short and medium distances.
If you need to detect further (1800 m) or want more thermal detail, look at the OMNI H35R, with a 640×512 sensor and 35 mm lens.

How to choose
Both OMNI models share the 8K digital channel (8192×6144, 50 mm F1.8), the 1000 m rangefinder, the 1600×1200 display, the batteries and the magnesium body; the thermal channel is what changes. The L19R (384×288, 19 mm, thermal magnification 1.5x to 12x) has the wider field and works best at short and medium distances. The H35R (640×512, 35 mm, 2x to 16x) detects up to 1800 m, gives more detail when zooming in, and includes the 850 nm illuminator and the bag.
Frequently asked questions
Is the OMNI L19R thermal or digital night vision?
Both. It has a 384×288 thermal channel, which sees heat even in total darkness, and an 8K colour digital channel, which works with the infrared illuminator at night. One button switches between them.
What batteries does it use?
A built-in battery and two replaceable 18650s, which fit either way round. Battery life reaches 7.5 hours, and four 18650s and a charger come in the box.
How far can it detect an animal?
With the thermal channel, the manufacturer states 980 m for a 1.7 × 0.5 m target (the manual states 1000 m). Detection means seeing the heat source; recognising the animal requires much shorter distances.
What are the 850 nm and 940 nm illuminators for?
They light the scene for the digital channel in total darkness. The 850 nm module gives more light and range; the 940 nm module is more discreet, with slightly shorter range. They are swapped by hand, without tools.
