ICNF HUNTER'S LICENSE EXAM MANUAL (in Portuguese)

The hunting licence manual from the ICNF is the study book for anyone preparing for the exam to obtain the hunting licence. This is the version updated in December 2024, already with the latest changes to the Hunting Act.

It covers the subjects of the exam: hunting legislation, hunting licence and the hunter's documents, basic concepts, biology of game species and of non-game species, general hunting restrictions, hunting grounds, periods, procedures and restrictions, firearms in hunting, hunting with bow and crossbow, hunting training grounds, hunting dogs, falconry, and health and hygiene of wild animals and food safety.

It is illustrated and includes examples of the tests applied by the ICNF (Instituto da Conservação da Natureza e das Florestas), which makes it possible to practise the format of the questions before the exam.
