The Hikmicro NEOS NE25 is the lightest thermal scope in the NEOS range: 540 g, a 256x192 VOx sensor with NETD below 18 mK, a 25 mm F1.0 lens and a 0.49-inch AMOLED display. It fits standard 30 mm rings, detects up to 1200 m and runs for up to 9.5 hours, with a replaceable 18650 battery.
The Hikmicro NEOS NE25 is a compact thermal rifle scope for night hunting, designed for anyone who wants to get into thermal imaging with light, easy-to-use equipment. It fits standard 30 mm rings, just like a day scope, and combines a 256x192 VOx sensor with sensitivity below 18 mK, a 25 mm F1.0 lens and a 0.49-inch AMOLED display. It is the entry model of the NEOS range: it has no rangefinder or ballistic calculator, which are found on the NH25L and NH35L.
Features
- Sensitive sensor: 256x192 VOx detector with 12 μm pixels and NETD below 18 mK (at 25 °C, F1.0), to tell animals apart from vegetation even with little thermal contrast.
- Shutterless image: the HSIS system does away with shutter calibration and the image freezes it causes; the Image Pro 3.0, Zoom Pro and Sync Pro algorithms deliver a smooth image with lower latency.
- AMOLED display: 0.49 inches and 1920x1080, with brightness, contrast and tone (cold or warm) adjustment and six colour palettes.
- Light and compact: 540 g and 345.6 mm long.
- Battery life: up to 9.5 hours of continuous use, with one internal battery and one external 18650 battery, replaceable and rechargeable; charges via USB-C with QC3.0 support.
- Fast start-up: switches on in about 1 second.
- Shooting and recording: 5 zeroing profiles, freeze zeroing, video and audio recording, recoil-activated recording, picture-in-picture (PiP) and 64 GB of internal memory.
- HIKMICRO Sight app: 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi to view the image on your phone, download photos and videos and zero the scope through the app.
- Rugged: IP67 protection, recoil resistance of 1000 g / 0.4 ms and operation from -30 °C to 55 °C.

Frequently asked questions
Does the NE25 have a rangefinder? No. The 1000 m laser rangefinder and the ballistic calculator are on the NEOS NH25L and NH35L.
What rings do I need to mount it? Standard 30 mm rings, as for a day scope. The centre height is 32 mm.
Can I change the battery in the field? Yes. In addition to the internal battery, it uses an external 18650 battery, replaceable and rechargeable; one is included in the box, together with the charger.
How do I zero it? From the scope menu, with 5 profiles and freeze zeroing, or through the HIKMICRO Sight app over Wi-Fi.
