The Hikmicro Alpex 4K Lite A40E is a day and night digital rifle scope designed to be light and easy to use. It has a 4K 3840×2160 sensor, a 40 mm F2.0 lens and an 18.7 m field of view at 100 m, in a 450 g body (without external battery) with a 30 mm tube that mounts in standard rings like an optical scope. It suits short and medium range hunting and night hunting; for very dark nights, the manufacturer suggests adding an infrared illuminator, which is not included. The manufacturer states daytime detection up to 800 m.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work at night without an illuminator? It has a night mode and an auto mode for low light. On very dark nights, the manufacturer suggests an infrared illuminator, sold separately, to improve the image.
What is the difference from the A40EL? The A40EL has the same optics and sensor and adds a laser rangefinder up to 1000 m and a ballistic calculator; it weighs 474 g and has 7 hours of runtime.
How is it charged? The USB-C cable charges the internal battery; the external 18650 battery is charged in the charger, which comes in the package according to the distributor.
Which rings do I need? Rings for a 30 mm tube, as on an optical scope.
