THERMTEC MULTI-SPECTRUM THERMAL BINOCULARS VENTUS 635 LRF
The ThermTec VENTUS 635 LRF thermal binoculars (manufacturer name Ventus 635L) combine thermal imaging, a 4K day/night digital channel, an infrared illuminator and a laser rangefinder up to 1000 m in one device. The thermal channel has a 640×512 sensor with < 15 mK NETD and a 35 mm F0.9 objective lens; the digital channel uses a 3536×3536 CMOS sensor with a 50 mm lens.
Features
- 640×512 thermal channel, 12 µm, < 15 mK NETD: 35 mm F0.9 lens, 12.5° × 10° field (21.9 × 17.6 m at 100 m), 2.6–10.4x magnification and detection up to 1800 m according to the manufacturer.
- 4K day/night digital channel: 3536×3536 CMOS sensor (up to 12 MP) with a 50 mm F1.4 lens, 8.1° × 8.1° field and 4x to 24x magnification. Switches from thermal to visible without refocusing.
- Switchable 850/940 nm infrared illuminator: night vision on the digital channel up to 400 m (850 nm) or 350 m (940 nm), according to the manufacturer.
- Laser rangefinder up to 1000 m (±1 m, Class 1, 905 nm): with digital compass, azimuth and a ballistic calculator in the menu.
- Hybrid picture-in-picture: combines thermal and digital on the same screen to identify the target without losing the overview; electronic image stabilisation (EIS) for high magnification.
- 0.5-inch AMOLED display, 1600×1200: 20 mm eye relief, ±5 dioptre and interpupillary distance adjustable from 60 to 72 mm.
- Two replaceable 18650 batteries: up to 6 hours of operation; a proximity sensor turns off the screen when your eyes move away.
- Anti-slip rubber body, IP67: 825 g, 164 mm long, 1/4"-20 UNC tripod thread, 64 GB of memory with photo, video and audio recording, and the ThermTec Outdoor app over Wi-Fi.
Why choose this model?
The VENTUS 635 LRF has the 35 mm F0.9 thermal lens, with the wider field (12.5° × 10°, 21.9 × 17.6 m at 100 m) and thermal magnification starting at 2.6x. It is the binocular for scanning ground quickly and observing at short and medium distances, at 825 g. For more thermal reach, see the VENTUS 650 LRF (50 mm, detection up to 2600 m).
