Have you always dreamed of shooting with a bow or crossbow? Are you an archer or crossbowman looking to perfect your technique or a beginner wanting to learn, Arco Besta Clube is ideal for you!
Arco Besta Clube is a non-profit entity whose objective is to promote and practice sports, namely archery and crossbow, but also blowguns, slingshots, etc.
Regardless of the type of bow (compound, recurve, longbow, horsebow, etc.) or crossbow (compound, recurve, historical) you have, everyone is welcome to practice at our Club.
If you would like to hunt with a bow or crossbow, we can also help you prepare for a conscious introduction to hunting.
If you don't yet have a bow or crossbow and want to try these modalities, you can do so by booking trial classes.

Pack 5 Classes » €80 club provides beginner equipment
The contribution is made by donation directly to ABCPT - Arco Besta Clube, before the start of the respective class.
The main objective of this is to help with the costs of the club's current activities, wear and tear on equipment, etc.
Electronic payment methods (ATM, etc.) are not normally available
How to become a member of ABCPT
If you liked shooting and our teaching method, you can become a member of ABCPT and benefit from exclusive conditions for members:
Simply fill out the registration form and send it by email to arcobestaclube (gmail), along with a passport-sized photograph and a copy of your identification document or, alternatively, present the original at headquarters to confirm the data.
The initial registration costs €22
The annual value of the membership fees is €48*
*value for registrations until the end of 2024, corresponds to 365 days of membership, after the registration date
ABCPT members enjoy, among other advantages, the following:

Benefit from classes and use of shooting spaces with prices and conditions reserved for members

OUR MAIN HEADQUARTERS
They are located at Rua Vale de Stº António 48A, 1170-381 Lisboa, currently operating only as secretarial and support services for members.
In this space you can also find the Arco Besta e Caça Store where you can purchase all the equipment necessary to practice the sports
Classes at Headquarters have been suspended since the Covid pandemic.
Since 2024, all training has been transferred to our ABCPT Archery Range located in the Patrício Prazeres School pavilion, in Lisbon.
The indoor facilities have up to 25 meters but there is also possibility of shooting outdoor up to aprox 50 meters

According to the availability of coaches and students other schedules can be carried out outside pre-defined times
Members can opt for the Monthly Fee system
As this regime is for recurring and not occasional practice, medical/sports insurance is necessary, through the Federation in one of the sports Federations (FPTA or FABP)*

Under the monthly fee system, ABCPT can provide the initiation bow at an initial stage, but the archer must have his own set of arrows and personal protection (finger + armband)
