Players will take on the role of various Polynesian tribes and attempt to colonize a newly discovered archipelago with eight islands that promise to be resourceful. You and your friends, as good tribal chiefs as you are, will not miss the opportunity to exercise your dominance in this paradise bathed in clear waters and offer your people better conditions.

Blue Laggon is an extremely simple and fast game but it requires a lot of strategy and planning. Players will have to build routes between sea and land to reach available resources and settle on islands, building villages. The scoring is made by the resources that the players can raise, the dominance position they have on each of the eight islands and, in addition, are also awarded the largest routes. With so many scoring possibilities you will have to rely on tough decisions every time you play. Should you increase your domain on a particular island? Raise a particular resource, or block the opponent's route by severing important connections? Should you settle for immediate reward or long-term thinking?
