Greek linothorax cuirass by LOB, handmade in leather and canvas, with pteruges and a brass Gorgon ornament.

The Greek linothorax cuirass from Lord of Battles is directly inspired by the armour of the hoplites of Athens and Sparta and, later, of the phalangites of the army of Alexander the Great and of his companion cavalry.

It is handmade in genuine leather and sturdy canvas. Compared with an anatomical bronze cuirass of the same period, it is lighter and heats the wearer less, which counts over a full day of historical re-enactment.

  • Genuine leather and sturdy canvas, handmade assembly.
  • Long leather pteruges on the lower part, protecting the groin and the upper legs.
  • Aged brass Gorgon Medusa ornament, fixed to the centre of the torso.
  • Three sizes: M, L and XL.

Before choosing a size, check the measurement table that accompanies the photographs of the item.
