The ECO Shield 5 inch natural feathers are fletching feathers for arrows, with the shield cut.

The shield cut has a straight base and a high, short back, the classic profile of traditional arrows. With 5 inches of surface, it corrects the flight of the arrow quickly, which helps with heavy points and with releases from a finger tab or a glove; in exchange, it creates more drag than a small vane and loses speed at long distances.

Because they are natural feathers, they fold as they pass the riser or the arrow rest, which makes them suitable for traditional bows and for bows without a rest, where a plastic vane would strike. They get wet in the rain and get crushed with use, but they recover their shape with steam.

When ordering, confirm the orientation you want, left or right, so that all the feathers on the same arrow are fitted the same way round.
