Natural feathers with a Shield cut, 3 inches, sold individually. The Shield cut has a straighter back part and a rounded front, a common profile in the fletching of traditional shooting arrows.

  • Material: natural feather
  • Length: 3 inches
  • Cut: Shield
  • Unit of sale: one feather

At 3 inches, this is a short fletching, which adds little weight to the rear of the shaft. According to the supplier's text, the feathers help to stabilise the flight of the arrow more quickly.

The feathers are glued to the shaft with a proper glue, normally with the help of a fletching jig. As the item is sold individually, you should order the number of feathers matching the arrows you intend to build.
