Brown Bess is the popular name of the infantry musket which served the British military from around 1722 until the end of the Napoleonic Wars.
Often, a bayonet was used on these muskets for close combat, which were comparable in length to short-swords. This authentic replica of the Brown Bess bayonet is made of steel. The sheath included in the delivery is made of leather and has a fabric strap.
