One side of the hilt is decorated with coats of arms associated with the black prince, while the other side of the hilt bears the words "HONNI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE", which is translated from old French as "Sin to the one who has bad thoughts." This is also the motto of the Knights of the Garter. The polished stainless steel blade is masterfully etched with medieval symbols. This sword has a dull blade and is made for reenactors and for decoration and decoration of armory rooms.
